• beskrivelse, 2012. Brenda Stearns about her Grandmother:
I am not able to help you with any generation past my mothers because no one speaks much of Denmark. The only thing my grandma ever told me was how horrible it was to be on Ellis Island when they first arrived. She said they were treated as cattle. She also talked of a couple here in North Dakota. I am thinking it would be Carl Andersen's brother and his wife. They had come to this country before Anna and Carl. My grandparents lived with them for awhile before they found their own home on the prairie. Grandma would tell that this woman would hide the good food from them and not treat them very nicely. It is bad that is about all I can remember. I never knew my grandfather but my grandma and I were very close. I also remember that I could never understand the difference between Tuesday and Thursday when grandma spoke. I had to ask tell her to tell me the Turssday (that is what it sounded like) the Turssday after Monday or the Turssday after Wednesday. It was our little joke.

Anna blev gift med Carl Christian Andersen [20705] [MRIN: 1860], søn af Marius Gustav Andersen [22] og Signe Cecilie Møller gift Andersen [23], 24 jun. 1910 i Rønne, Bornholm. (Carl Christian Andersen [20705] blev født 15 okt. 1886 i 233a, Rønne, Bornholm, dåb 5 dec. 1886 i Rønne og døde i maj 1943 i Rosebud, Lichtville, Barnes, North Dakota.)
